Mr. Winkler has worked more than 23 years in engineering as a lead electrical engineer, manager of the electrical departments, and as a senior project manager. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Winkler’s experience includes managing projects for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and several local Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts for the Air Force. He also designed a wide variety of electrical and telecommunications systems for commercial, industrial, power distribution systems, and military projects.
Mr. Winkler is a member of USGBC and carries the LEED AP© BD&C certification. Additionally, Mr. Winkler maintains an extensive working knowledge through course work and publications of telecommunications system design (BISCI courses), Energy Efficiency in Data Centers (courses from EC&M, Liebert, APC, and other vendors), LED fixture design and implementation (vendor courses and presentations), grid-tied photovoltaic array design and implementation, and energy efficient lighting design. Mr. Winkler will work from Etegra’s St. Louis office.
