Since graduating with a Bachelors of Arts, Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University in 2009, Ms. Brittany Palmer’s professional career has been growing rapidly. Her first stop was as the Marketing & Events Coordinator at Evolvent Technologies, a Virginia based, focused healthcare systems integrator with particular strength in federal healthcare systems. At Evolvent, Brittany was responsible for coordinating the company’s large trade shows, receptions, charitable events and corporate functions. In addition, she provided proposal/bid support, and maintained her corporate marketing duties, including coordinating/writing/editing the company’s marketing materials such as Evolvent’s published magazines and books.
Using her skills acquired at Evolvent, Brittany became an integral part of launching a new company focused on providing marketing and proposal support to federal contractors. Here she continued to grow her marketing and proposal capabilities, while also developing the foundation of her graphic design, branding and desktop publishing skills.
In 2013, the opportunity opened up for Brittany to take the next step in her career, to create the marketing strategy and proposal process at Etegra, then a startup Architecture/Engineering firm in Saint Louis. She pioneered the Marketing & Proposal arm of the company, serving as the voice for Etegra. Brittany was responsible for the brands’ public image, including social media, event planning, marketing collateral and press releases. She continues to oversee the development of Etegra bids from start to finish, including content, design, printing, production and submission. Her contributions are vital to the procurement of new projects.
With a functioning marketing and proposal department at Etegra, winning $85M in contract value over the course of two years, Brittany then began transitioning to a new challenge in her career path, increasing her studies in Human Resources and Management by pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources, which led to taking on the responsibilities as Executive Vice President, Operations. She directly manages the administration and coordination of Etegra’s Human Resources department. In support of the CEO, she ensures the company’s day-to-day corporate procedures run efficiently by guaranteeing Etegra has the proper operational, administrative and organizational systems in place to ensure operating efficiency and effectively grow the firm.
