Etegra completed the abatement and demolition of two buildings, the Normandie Hall Complex and 7956 Natural Bridge Road. Etegra also completed the demolition of the Parking and Transportation Building.
Demolition specifications were prepared, demolition bids were evaluated and on-site observation was provided for this project, the first phase of which was recently completed at UMSL’s campus. The first phase involved the demolition of several smaller structures with the demolition of the main structure to take place this summer. The project scope included the abatement of asbestos before demolition. Coordination with the civil engineer, CDI, was provided in relation to site utilities.
At a later date, UMSL also included the demolition of two residential properties currently owned by the University. Additional scope included demolishing the substantial majority of the site improvements and creating green field space.
