The scope and requirements for this contract include Registered Roof Observer (RRO) Services for re-roofing construction projects awarded by the USACE, Louisville District, in support of the Army Reserve National Roofing Initiative (NRI). The project includes the use of ROOFER, a Sustainment Management System (SMS), which provides a systematic approach for managing a multitude of roofing types, including membrane, asphalt, shingle, and metal panel. An inventory is established by collecting physical and historical information about each roof, including the physical and historical information about each roof, which includes the physical dimensions and layout of the roof, material types, and construction characteristics for each component.
Roof sites include facilities located in the Regional Support Commands (RSC). RRO Services included, but are not limited to: engaging on all facets of the construction projects, 100% surveillance during roofing operations at all sites, coordination with USACE LRL, regional districts, ARIM-D roofing D-base manager, on site visual construction quality control and assurance, reviewing submittals for specification compliance, reporting of activities, timely communication of findings and issues, assistance on issue resolution, and updating asset management inventory data upon completion of the roofing projects.
